I'm moving this weekend down to DC for my first real job! It's pretty crazy.

So, I'm graduating in 3 days. I'll be directing a day camp this summer, and then I'll be teaching in PG County, MD in the fall.

I student taught this past semester, first grades 7-12 for choir, band, and general music [grade 8]. Then I taught grades K-6 general music. I had more fun with elementary. I think I'll be looking for a job in Baltimore for the fall... until then I'll have another semester of classes at GCC, graduate in May, and live at home for the summer while I work at a day camp.

I searched my laptop for any work I may have done that I could post on dA, but I couldn't find anything. I guess I've just been directing my efforts toward other activities lately. I hope to produce some artwork/ writing sometime soon though.

there's this thing next Saturday on the mall in DC called The Call that I might go to with some friends. it's basically a bunch of people getting together to fast & pray from 10am to 10pm, for the Church & the nation, an appeal to God to forgive & save us.

I went downtown tonight to see Shane Burke play at the coffee co. he was awesome, as he was last time. I hung out a bit after the show with him & his friends. it was fun!

I've got 2 more weeks of working at Camp Monocacy & then I move back to school. I'm excited about living in an apt. this year. I've got all my color-coordinated bathroom rugs & shower curtain & toothbrush holder. and I've got my baking pans, wooden spoons, & tupperware. yep, I'm set. now I just need a job!

I'll be working at least one, if not two, jobs, going to Sovereign Grace Church, taking my Praxis tests, and hangin around.
